The De'Longhi Alu oil filled radiator is made of aluminum, with piano style vertical columns. The Alu heats up by using an electrical element immersed in thermodynamic oil. Oil filled radiators produce heat very quickly and offer immediate comfort. This designer radiator by De'longhi is practical and very user-friendly, ensures the maximum flexibility in terms of use. Can be used for any room in the home, the Alu is designed to blend in with home furnishings.
The Alu has a slimline flat front just 90mm deep, the Alu projects 116mm from the wall. Yes the Alu is ideal mainly because it has a "Keypad lock" function so after choosing the desired room settings, Day, Night, 24/7 etc, simply lock the heater so it cant be tampered with! The Alu also has a safe surface working temperature setting, plus open window sensor, that would shut the radiator down if any windows or doors were left open!

Very easy the Alu is plug & play, supplied with 3 x metal wall fixings, can be "hard wired" or fitted with UK, EU plugs!

When the heater is fitted to the wall the power cable would be on the bottom right hand corner as you look at it! Please note this heater is "double insulated" so it does not require earth wire connection.
Can you fit a UK plug on the Delonghi Alu?
Yes you can fit a UK plug, please note the black wire on the Delonghi Alu should not be used, the Alu does not need an earth wire due to it being double insulated. Alternatively you can hard wire the Delonghi Alu to a fixed fused spur, please see https://www.cnmonline.co.uk/matt-black-13a-dp-switched-fused-spur-with-flex-outlet.html
Why is there no earth wire on the De'longhi Alu?
The Alu is "Double" insulated in the same way as Kettles, Irons, Washing Machines, Toasters, Microwaves, Electric Heaters, Fridges, Freezers and Tumble Dryers. These products will have no earth circuit and no earth wire in the plug. Class 2 products are commonly known as 'double insulated' look for the double square symbol or insulation class ii. How long is the cable?
The length of the cable is 80cm.

When the child safety function is activated this will override all other settings including Night Eco, Comfort, Antifreeze, Chrono and Pilot wire control.
Open Window function
If the radiator detects an open window - or "rapid drop in room temperature" the radiator stops heating automatically until the window is closed!
